Today, when 70% of Kosovo citizens have the main concern of increasing prices, all I am remembering is our VV meetings where it was discussed on this very issue. During those meetings, resentment, zeal, and willingness to respond were characteristic of many who today are senior ministers and officials in this government. But where are those people today?
How is it that they, in far greater positions today, do not say a word on the matter? Rather, by not sending a single comment to the ZERE, they are legitimizing this dearness of the current!
In fact, it is a shame for all political parties in Kosovo that have not sent a single comment to the Energy Regulatory Office against raising the electricity price. The current government came to power by promising the nationalisation of energy distribution, and now it is silenced by any cost in the last four years. While opposition parties are left with only empty Facebook status, without any concrete action.
Instead of having adjourned for citizens, they only post social networking to cover up failures and lack of concrete work. Instead of protecting citizens from these unfair costs of electricity, our parties are interested only in sharing power and privileges among themselves.
Kosovo deserves better than parties that are only interested in division of power.
