The ZRRE says 16 April has approved new tariffs for use of the transmission system, system operating and market operating, as well as tariffs for use of the system and distribution, which now says “are mandatory for all suppliers”, including Elektrosser, the Serbian company operating in the country's north.

The raising of the 16.1% electricity tariffs is for the Universal Minister's Supporter, which operates throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and has this universal service obligation, KESCO”, said the ZERE report.
ZERE also reports that “electric power provider Elektrosever has license from Z RRE for consumers of four municipalities in the north of the Republic of Kosovo, as commercial suppliers, as well as many other electricity suppliers licensed by ZRRE”.
Earlier today, Z. The RRE has said that new tariffs will be implemented from June 1st across the territory, except for the northern part.
There the Serbian company Elektrosever has taken over consumer supply and billing, under an agreement reached within Kosovo-Serbia dialogue in 2022 and since it operates outside the Universal Minister Z system. RRE has said earlier that “these tariffs do not apply in that part of the territory”./Periscopi/
