Corruption Prevention Agency (APK) reports that, based on the Law for General Administrative Procedure, the deadline for property declaration continues today, on April 1st.
“When the last day of a deadline falls on Saturday, Sunday or an official holiday, the deadline ends on the day of work that comes immediately after”, the APK reports Periscope.
According to the APK, the last legal deadline for the 2024 calendar year's declaration of property is on April 1, 2025 (by 23:59:59).
During yesterday, the site of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption has had technical problems, just on the day it was also the last time public officials were set to declare wealth.
The Law on the Declaration of Riches envisions that about 5 thousand officials who are obliged to declare their property, they must do so by the 31st of March 2025, at the Agency for Prevention of Corruption. On the contrary, they will face fines and criminal charges.
