This day aims to recognise the injustice experienced and trauma as a result of such crimes and also raise awareness of delayed justice and the fight against stigma.
In this day's footnote, this Sunday, April 14, 2025, the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors (QKRTM), reports that on the Memorial Day of Sex Violence Survivors during the last war in Kosovo, for the first time, a surviving man will publicly share his confession.

Unlike President Vjosa Osmani's proposal, the government, April 14th, has appointed Days of Sex Violence Survivors during the recent war in Kosovo.
This decision will contribute to maintaining collective memory, while citing the need for solidification with survivors of sexual violence.
