“We will create breathing for each business”, Berisha promises to cut the price of energy and taxes

Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha has held a meeting with representatives of small business in Tirana, where he has presented some of the main points of the opposition programme for support of this sector. Berisha promised a series of facilities, including power price cuts and increases in tax-free income thresholds [...]
For small business, the price of electricity will drop from $18 per kilowatt to only 6 leks. We had this price before, and it is time to return it to give a greater opportunity to survive and develop”, Berisha said during the meeting on the capital's industrial market.
He said that lowering the energy price is part of a broad plan to support businesses, which have suffered from major energy price increases in recent years.
We cannot allow business to sink by energy costs. We will help every small business survive and develop. Lowering the energy price is a concrete step towards improving conditions for them”, Berisha said, reports Express, tramsedon Periscope.
Berisha also stressed that the tax-free income threshold for businesses would increase from 140 thousand euros to 180 thousand euros -- a step that would significantly ease the fiscal burden for those operating in the sector.
We will raise the tax-free income ceiling from 140 thousand to 180 thousand euros. This is a major relief for businesses, which will create breathing and investment opportunities. ”
The DP chairman also promised an amnesty for fines that have been imposed on small business and citizens, stressing that this would be an opportunity to regulate the injustices done so far.
“will have a full amnesty for fines that are imposed without justice. This is a step to remove the unjust burden on businesses and citizens, and start a new period, where there will be more justice and opportunity for young people, businesses and pensioners. ”
According to Berisha, his government will remain clear against unjust practices and will not make any amnesty for traffickers, as Prime Minister Edi Rama had proposed.
“Edi Rama may offer amnesty to traffickers, but we will not. We don't want illegal money that's damaging the economy and destroying the country. Also, this is a damage that is turning into a crisis for all Albanian citizens. ”
Another Berisha promise was to improve the health system.
From 2019 to this day, health spending from the citizens' pocket has increased by 41%. Our citizens are being forced to do tests and treatments in private hospitals due to lack of services in state hospitals. We will change this situation within the first 100 days of our government. ”
Also, the list of drugs restored by the state will be identical to what is offered in Italy to enable any citizen to be treated without worrying about the cost. “
After the meeting, Berisha responded to statements by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who accused him of declaring no grant from the US.
“Rama wants to talk about me and my announcement no grata, but if we see reality, it's who has to answer for McGonigal's investigation. Albanian citizens are tired of his fraud and scandals. After 100 days, Albania will have true justice and a stable economy. ”/Periscope/
