In this case, Blerim Syla was accused of organising and participating in terrorist groups and possession without permission. Nine more accused of completing the procedure along with him, but on Syla the subject has been singled out as it was abroad, reports “Justice Trust”, broadcast. Periscope.
The court's chairman, Judge Undervention Arren, made the statement of the court on Thursday.
Judge Arren said accused Syla is acquitted of criminal activity “organisation and participation in terrorist groups”, with the argument that he was not proven to be part of the terrorist group I SIS.
While, at the point of the two indictment device for criminal work “retaining ownership, control, possession or unauthorized use of weapons”, the Court pronounced a refusal act, arguing that it has reached the absolute prescription of prosecution.
Meanwhile, he ordered the seizure of weapons described as in the indictment.
Also, Judge Arren announced that with special decision, accused Syla has interrupted the detention measure. The eye was not present at the proclamation of the judgment.
According to the indictment filed on May 7th 2015 by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, charged in this case are Irfan Haqifi, Ernest Beqiri, Fidan Ibrahimaj, Kujtim Blaca, Blerim Syla, Fitim Dema, Bushi, Vehbi Grxhaliu, grande Bush and Kenan Rushiti
Irfan Haqifi and Ernest Beqiri are charged with criminal work “Recruiting for terrorism”. Fidan Ibrahimi, Fitim Dema, Bushi name, Vehbi Grxhaliu, noble Bush, Kenan Rushiti, Cameron Blaca and Blerim Syla are charged with “organisation and participation in terrorist groups”. And the last two for illegal possession.
According to the indictment, accused Blerim Syla, on November 3, 2013, with the intention of joining the terrorist group I SIS, in Syria, through Pristina airport has travelled to the city of Istanbul in Turkey, then from there to the town of Hatai, to follow to the town of Azra in Syria.
It is said that he was originally located in a training centre where he had performed weapons exercises in the city of Tarifat, Syria, and then directly participated in fighting, where he has remained more than three months, and on May 17, 2014, he has returned to Kosovo.
For these actions, accused Syla was charged with performing criminal work “Organising and participation in terrorist groups” by Article 143, par.2 of the Criminal Code.
The eye was also accused of having been supplied without authorization, held weapons and that: explosives-two TNT, along with equipment that serves to activate this matter, as well as a gun, which was found and confiscated with the case of the raid police had taken at the defendant's home in Gjilan.
For these actions, Syla was accused of committing criminal work “retaining ownership, control, possession or unauthorized use of weapons” by Article 374, par.1 of the Penal Code.
