The Constitution is said to have been decided that the Law is sent to President Vjosa Osmani for announcement.
“Court unanimously (i) has decided to declare acceptable demands; (i) to state that paragraphs 3, 4 and 5 of Article 18 (Compassional Submissions) of Law No.08/L-294 for changing and completing Law No. 08/L-197 for public officials are not at odds with Article 46 [the Protection of Property] of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo; as well as (ii) to prove that paragraphs 3, 4 and 5 of Article 18 (Compassional Submissions) of Law No.08/L-294 for changing and completing Law No. 08/L-197 for public officials, are not opposed to the articles: 3 [Baraias Before the Law] 7 [Verra], 24 [Barazia before the Law], 32 [Eights for Juridia Rights], 49 [Employment Rights and the Army of Profession], 53 [Information of the Human Rights Dispositions], 54 [Judict of Rights], and 55 [Confirming Foundation Rights and Freedoms] of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. Based on the above findings, the Court also ruled that (i) the controversial Law is sent to the president of the Republic of Kosovo for the proclamation; and (ii) to determine that the Act goes into effect on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Kosovo”, the statement said.
