The Kosovo Business Connection (LBK) strongly supports the protest called for April 5th, as an act necessary to counter the warned and affordable rise in the electricity price.

This growth is not a burden citizens and businesses should bear, but is a direct consequence of the failures of institutions that have neglected investments in energy production and maintenance for years.

Businesses cannot be victims of institutional inaction.

The rise in energy prices is a direct attack on the economy.

Close-up of small enterprises,

Price hikes for citizens,

Poor local competition in front of foreign markets.

Many businesses have expressed willingness to invest in clean energy but current laws do not allow it. There's a development door closing, crisis door opening.

The LBK won't shut up. We will not allow the rising price of energy to pass without opposition.
