The World Health Organization has said that conditions in the Gaza hospitals are “beyond description”, after a large structure was thrown out of service by an Israeli air strike.
spokeswoman Dr Margaret Harris told the BBC she was watching “after the attack against hospitals and health care workers and medical supplies were extremely low due to Israel's blocking territory, notes Periscope.
On Sunday, staff at al-Ahli Hospital in the city of Gaza said an Israeli attack had destroyed his laboratory and damaged the emergency room. They did not report any direct victims, but said a child died because of a break of care.
The Israeli Army said it hit a “command and control” used by Hamas to plan attacks.
The hospital is run by the Church of England, whose bishops said they shared “exhumation, grief and anger” with Palestinians for the attack and urged Israel to provide evidence to support its claim.
A ceasefire in Gaza ended when Israel resumed its air and land campaign four weeks ago, saying military pressure would force Hamas to release the hostages he still holds.
