CNN: US, Ukraine disagree at last minute on mineral deal

A last-minute dispute seems to be jeopardising the mineral deal that the United States and Ukraine were hoping to sign today.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal earlier stated that Ukraine was willing to sign the agreement, and then continue to work with the U.S. to replace “ “technical documents that describe the details of the agreement at a later time.

According to CNN, while the U.S. “provided” for all three documents signed today, Ukraine believed that more work should be done technically. /Periscope/
