Kosovo's involvement in this list comes after the extradition of the brothers Ardit and Jetmir Kutleshi, 26, and 28, who had been arrested as part of an alleged cybercrime network.
Both are citizens of Kosovo and were looking to American authorities for an illegal website known as “Rydox”.
The “Office of the Criminal Division for Development, Foreign Assistance and Training (OPDAT) has also provided assistance with extraditions from Kosovo”, said the DAD report.
In addition to the Kutleshi brothers, authorities had also identified a third head of the site, Shpend Sokoli, who was arrested in Albania by the Special Anti-Corruption Organization. He is expected to face charges in Albania.
The list of countries with which the US has co-operated for extraditions includes countries like Canada, Colombia, Germany, while Kosovo's involvement is assessed as an important step in international co-operation against organised and cyber crime. /Periscope/
