Full communication:
Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry supports the rally called for April 5th to challenge the warned energy price increase.
Since the first days when the rising energy price was mentioned, The BETIC has raised the alarm by urging institutions to act to prevent such an action.
Businesses and citizens should not be punished because of the failure of institutions to bring investment in energy production or the cause of the longer maintenance of energy stabilisations.
Djetik re-exemplifies that the announced increase in energy prices will have a negative chain impact, so it will lower business revenues and follow-up revenues will be reduced, jobs will be jeopardised, as well as businesses without their own intention, forced to increase the price of products, putting competition from abroad in difficult situations.
In the numerous meetings we have held with our member businesses, many of them have plans to invest or increase energy production capacity by the wind and the sun, but that this is enabling the laws and regulations of the ERE.
A major obstacle has also been made the Law on Public Property, which has been unable to increase investments in energy production and foreign investment behavior.
We also oppose the Ministry of Economy's proposal for increasing the number of generations of consumption for over 800 kWh.
In this case, DITIC invites all businesses to join the protest.
The DEC is also considering the company of other measures to challenge both energy prices and the ZERE plan for market liberalisation. /Periscope/
