The former chairman of the Constitution said the public service makes sense when the belief that democracy is not given, comes from high, but is cultivated through daily work.
“Building and democracy are long-term processes that require each individual's commitment; the stability of not losing patience when the results are not immediate; the commitment to maintaining the achievements we already have; and the belief that we have work, ethics and integrity each of us every day sets a small pillar towards meeting the values embedded in our constitutional order”, she said further.
The former chairman of the Constitution said that respect that has been done today increases the weight of commitment to further serve that goal.
At the end of her speech, Caka-Niman said she is honoured to accept this gratitude from the Coalition of Nongovernmental Organizations, calling it an example of activism.
“While I will celebrate this date with an additional gratitude ] to the Kosovo Institute for Justice, Movement Foll and Progress Initiative. I am especially honored to accept this gratitude from you, that you are an example of activism, commitment and contribution to state and society”, she said.
