(a year ago)Under the action code-named “Zaff”, under the order of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor-in-law, investigators from the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested the Ministry for Science, Higher Education and Youth of Canton, Adna Mesilovic, and its assistant, Genita Vorskiq. They are suspected of criminally misusing official positions or authorisations.
More precisely, suspected of illegal employment in the ministry, writes Clix.ba.
Early in the morning, residences and offices of the Sarajevo Ministry for Science, Higher Education and Youth of Canton have been searched. Documents and other items have been found that can serve as evidence in the ongoing criminal procedure, followed. Periscope.
The event is, among other things, the result of the protocol signed for prosecution of corrupt acts between the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor, the Sarajevo Canton's Anti-Corruption Office and Sarajevo Canton's Department of Internal Affairs Police.
Help has also provided Bosnia and Herzegovina's Agency for Security and Information (OSA). In the end, the suspects, following the investigative procedure near the KS's MPB, will be handed over for further competence to the KS prosecution.
