The MP elected by the Egyptian Liberal Party, Veton Berisha, has declared that the last meeting he had with the incumbent prime minister, Albin Kurti, has been with constructive tones.
He made it known that during that meeting some uncertainty has been clarified from the past and that a will has been expressed on Kurt's part to include the Egyptian community in future governance.
“From the last meeting, we've had a very good date. We've been respected by Mr. Kurti. We've cleared up some of the confusion that has been in the past. And there's been a will to include us in his government”, Berisha said on Debat Plus broadcasts Periscope.
He added that another meeting was scheduled to continue discussions, but that meeting has not yet happened.
The second of that meeting is that we left with a next appointment, even a mouse with our issues. A date that hasn't happened yet. So nothing more. Apart from what we have left and there is no following the next meeting since then”, Berisha added.
Berisha stressed that his obligation as MP is to build institutions as soon as possible and advance the position of the Egyptian community in Kosovo.
He also declared that there are no red lines with any political party in the country.
“I have the obligation that Kosovo institutions build as soon as possible. And I owe that Egyptian community in a better, developed position. I don't have any red lines with anybody. I have no reason to follow no party. Each party has its own values”, Berisha has said among other things.
