Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has accused Vetevendosje Movement, which is hampering the constitution of the 9th Parliament.
After the fifth-time failure to elect chairman of the Parliament and other legislative troops, Bajrami reiterated that LDK sDK has no Albulen Haxhiu vote as LV's nominated for top parliament, but not for any other candidate from this party.
According to her, the responsibility to unblock the situation in the country belongs to LVV, reaching a political agreement.
“Vetevendosje Movement today for the seventh time prevented the Kosovo Assembly's constitutionalisation. Einstein has clearly stated it is crazy to repeat the same action and expect a different result. It is that every time Mrs. Haxhiu has only 57 votes and every time LVV exhibits come, it is declared that opposition parties have probably reflected. On behalf of the LDK I can say that we don't vote for Albulen Hadziu, nor for any other candidate”, she said.
Bajrami, who has been nominated as head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, said the winning LVV party cannot impose a vote on the Assembly.
According to her, institutions are constitutionalised with political agreements, but the LVV is insisting on taking all institutional positions without having the majority in the Assembly.
The February 9th elections have clearly shown that citizens have not given anyone the absolute majority to form as the only party Kosovo institutions. Institutions are constitutionalised with political agreements, but despite the results of the LVV vote, it insists that it take all positions without having the majority and that can't happen. The LDK has clearly stated when it has rejected possible co-operation with the LVV, but there are other parties, so I consider it a failure for them and only if these Sãons leave space for co-operation with any political party”, Bajrami added.
On the other hand, questioned about the possibility of extraordinary elections, Bajrami said they are ready for such a thing, but the main burden for such a thing belongs to the winning party of the February 9th elections, the Vetevendosje Movement.
The political parties are always ready for elections, but I consider that Kosovo citizens have voted in the February 9th elections to send the country back to elections without becoming the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly. If we go to the polls, the responsibility belongs to the first party, which is mandated for the formation of 48x1> institutions, Bajrami said.
She reiterated that they are preparing a criminal outcry against cabinet members who, despite having sworn as MPs, continue to exercise their duties at the executives. /Periscopi/
