Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has reacted to the declaration of Kosovo's most incumbent Finance Minister, Hekuran Murati, who said the opposition is seeking “rejection of institutions”, rather than resignations of ministers.
Through a Facebook response, Bajrami has called Murati's statement manipulation, stressing that the opposition is seeking law enforcement that, according to it, has been drafted and adopted by the Kurti Government itself.
“Hecurran, don't manipulate the facts! You said: "The replacement is asking me to abandon my government." First: not the opposition, because for the sake of being the opposition, you Hekurani and Albin must have the majority, and yesterday it was seen that you still have majority”, Bajrami wrote.
She added that it is not the opposition seeking the resignation of ministers, but the law, namely Article 26 of the Law on Government, which, according to her, obliges ministers in office to resign.
“We're looking for us to abandon Government if you're naming it a dropout but the law you've already written is approved, which is in effect from 2022,” she stressed.
LDK MP concludes her response on charges of violations of the laws and Constitution on the part of Kurti Government, saying they are unable to draft laws.
Iron! Don't manipulate the facts!
