Democratic League of Kosovo headship member Wisar Azemi has reacted sharply through a social networking post concerning recent developments in the Kosovo Assembly, naming today's session as one “ and a testimony to the capture of the state, writes Periscope.
This is not a democracy. This is state capture,” declared Azemi, accusing Vetevendosje of manipulation of the parliamentary process and efforts to secure the majority through dishonest methods.
Full response:
This isn't a democracy. This is the capture of the state.
A session that should be solemn turned into a low political market. It even proved that they expect the Serbian List votes.
The Assembly is not a private property of a political party, nor a shopping arena with mandates.
The party, which for four years did nothing, tried to make phone numbers.
It was seen as acting deputies and ministers, without integrity at all, tried to buy votes at the beginning of the session.
The people have understood your game and will never forgive this betrayal of democracy!
