Suspected quantities have been withdrawn and blocked until results were released.
<x) The storage of the importable economic operator, in addition to the provision of temporary market extraction of the product in stock, has also been inspected. All samples are collected from border points and internal control. They're in the lab and the testing process has begun. For the time of its release, we cannot give deadlines or dates now. It all depends on the dynamic of the lab testing process. At the first moment of extracting results, we will inform the public with the findings”, he added.
The control continues on borders and within the country to secure consumers and ensure food safety, he says. Test results are expected in the following days.
“As an additional measure we have also placed on Kosovo's borders, we are well prepared for any situation to respond to the constitutional danger presented. At any time, the announcements and checkups that are conducted are directed to food safety at any time. We have these measures to remove consumer allegations”, Thaqi concluded. /Periscope
