In the announcement released on Facebook, they reportedly share the common concern that current developments -- both in the country and the region -- are not moving in the right direction, according to Ahmeti.
“However, I believe and confirm with President Begaj that the Republic of Northern Macedonia has the capacity needed to overcome the challenges it faces. What is missing is not the ability, but the will that should be mutual”.
“, primarily, must improve interethnic relations and protect the achievements of the spirit of the Ohrid Pacific Agreement. Also, other important agreements, such as Prespa's, and good neighbourly agreements, should be respected, paving the way for a common European future”, Ahmeti wrote.
