In the UN's latest report on fertility, Albania is defined as one of the countries with the largest birth decline in the population.
The “in UN projections is projected to bring births down to 60,000 such as 23,000 such births as are currently”, follows Periscope.
The decline of births is expected to be drastic in the first 10-year period until 2035, when births will drop to 15 thousand, to reach 2045 in 10 thousand births in one year.
According to the UN, two are the main factors in reducing the number of births, migration and aging of the population.
<x0). International migration also indirectly affects the number of births in destination countries and in countries of origin in countries and areas such as Albania, Armenia, Guadeloupa or Jamaica, the migration of a large number of women at reproductive age could reduce the number of births that take place in those countries”
Albania is not the only one expected to face this phenomenon, as birth reduction projections affect the entire Balkan region. The drastic decline is forecast in northern Macedonia and Montenegro.
Due to the high birth rate in one year, Serbia will be the state that will feel less the decline of fertility in the population, where it currently registers 53 thousand births a year. /Tv Klan
