Agim Maka was the first chairman of the LDK branch in Junic, in a difficult period for Kosovo, when political and civic organisation required extraordinary courage, wisdom and commitment.
In addition to political engagement, Agim had a long professional career and served with dignity in important positions. After the war ended, he was appointed chief executive of the Decani municipality, which he exercised until 2004. Then he continued his career in the banking sector until his retirement in 2021, always setting the example of professionalism and dedication.
His contribution is not limited to the institutional sphere. In the 1990s, Agim Maka was one of the active contributors to the process of reconciliation of blood, helping to strengthen unity and peace within the community.
Agim Maka left behind a precious moral and civic heritage that will remain inspired for future generations.
In honor of his life and work, the Yunik municipality hosted a comet collection on April 29, 2025, while the funeral ceremony is held at 4: 00 p.m. at the City's cemetery in Junik, the Gacafer neighbourhood.
