The Democratic Party has signed a $6m contract with an American lobbie company, owned by close figures with former President Donald Trump, to lobby near the US government for a period of two years, reports Theme newspaper.
Under the contract, the company will offer the following services in favour of the Democratic Party:
1. Establishing relations with key actors in the United States administration and Congress to facilitate policy development.
2. Support for promoting democracy, fighting corruption and government reforms in line with US-Albanian relations.
3. Use of experience in government relations, political advocation, legal support and commitment of interested parties, in line with the objectives of its Democratic Party and coalition, Alliance for Greater Albania. /Periscopi/
