At least 516 people have been injured in the wake of a powerful explosion in Iran's port city of Bandar Abbas on Saturday, according to Iranian state television.
Iran's customs said the blast occurred at the Sina container terminal, which is linked to the Marine Port and Transport Organisation.
Emergency services and Iranian first aid teams are on the scene, and the number of injured has increased over hours after the explosion, writes REL, broadcast Periscope.
Authorities have not yet indicated the cause of the blast.
Mehrdad Hasanzadah, a disaster management official, told Iranian state television the explosion came from containers in the city's port of Rajaei.
Other videos showed damage in buildings and vehicles. Some were also seen in the area helping the wounded and controlling the damage to their properties.
Rajaei port is mainly a container traffic site, but it also has oil reservoirs and other petrochemical objects.
Rajaei port is located some 1,050 miles [1,050 km] southeast of Tehran, in the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which it exceeds 20 percent of all commercially traded oil.
Israel was accused of carrying out a major cyber attack on the same port in May 2020, causing chaos in transport for several days after the port computer collapse. /Periscope.
