So at least report Israeli mediaAccording to which, after publishing the arrest order against him, Israeli officials informed Dodik that he was not welcome, causing Dodik to leave the country with his associates, Telegrafi conveys.
They recall that the verdict came after a court in Bosnia issued an international warrant Wednesday against Milorad Dodik, Republika Srpska President and Bosnian Serb leader, currently located in Israel.
According to the court's statement, Dodik is charged with <x0->mining constitutional order” and leaving the country in opposition to court orders.
Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison and banned from political activity for six years after rejecting the decisions of an international envoy for peace.
Dodik, a “avokas” for a long time pro-Russian secession from Bosnia and an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, issued legislation banning Bosnia's judiciary and state police from operating in the majority Serb region.
But the law was temporarily suspended by the Constitutional Court.
Dodik has also repeatedly threatened to separate Republika Srpska from Bosnia and join it with neighbouring Serbia -- a move that Western countries warn could rekindle violent conflict in the region.
But according to Israeli media, earlier this week Dodik moved to neighbouring Serbia and then travelled to Israel to attend the anti-Semitic conference in Jerusalem.
The Bosnian State Court also announced that an international arrest warrant had been issued for Nenad Stevandı, speaker of the Republika Srpska Parliament, who had travelled to Serbia but has since returned to Bosnia.
The directives have been forwarded to Interpol, reportedly in the court's statement with Dodik, who has dismissed the charges as politically motivated.
The current crisis has been considered the most serious since the 1990s war and threatens the 1995 Dayton Agreement that ended the Bosnian War.
