Polish KFOR soldiers, assigned to Regional Command in the East, conducted a routine patrol in northern Kosovo for, as KFOR said, ensuring the freedom of movement and overall security of the area.
“These efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to ensure a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo”, KFOR said.

Mission NATO in Kosovo reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission to Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security reactors.
