President Donald Trump signed an executive order today that begins the process of dismantling the Department of Education.
While signing the action, Trump was surrounded by small children sitting at their tables in the White House, who at the same time signed papers in a file.
After completing their signature, the children kept up their files as the president did.
The president told Education Secretary Linda McMahon that she is leading something that's important” and that when she's finished with the process, he will find the “something else” for her.
You're doing a great job. Hopefully you won't be there for long. But we'll find something else for you, Linda”Trump said.
The order to dismantle the Department of Education is not surprising after Trump announced that the day of the inauguration that would take place sooner or later.
