At The Hague today, the next witness to the Specialised Prosecutor's Office will continue.
At Monday's hearing in The Hague, Prosecutor's 124's witness, Naim Maloku, who was also questioned about the position of Jakup Krasniqi during the war. The witness said Krasniqi exercised for at least two months the position of deputy commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, reports Periscope.
He said Krasniqi held this position in December of 1998 and January 99 until he was appointed as a member of the delegation in Rambouillet, reports
According to the Specialised Chambers Calendar, the trial “Thaci and others”, only two court sessions are expected to be held this week.
By contrast, the court case -- hahim Thaci and others -- began on April 3, 2023 with the opening statements of the Specialised Prosecutor and the representative of the victims, followed by defence teams on April 4th and April 5, 2023.
We remember that the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, on September 30th, 2022, has handed over the confirmed amended indictment against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, which consists of ten points on charges, where the latter are charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
