Tragedy in Kocan: 19 in detention, three under house arrest

Of the three people for whom the court changed the verdict, the prosecution for two has filed complaints at the Appeal-Stip Court, which is currently deciding on this. It is the detentions of former Kocan municipality mayors Ratko Dimitrov and Nikolco Iliev, while the prosecution has not filed complaints against the third person to whom the house arrest measure, former director of the State Market Inspectorate, Aneta Simeska Dimoska, has also been assigned. The current chairman of the Kocan municipality, Ljupco Papazov, remains suspected and in custody, while in the fire investigation that claimed the life of 59 people so far are suspected 34 physical persons and three legal persons. They are charged with serious acts against public security, which are sentenced to imprisonment of between three and 20 years.
