President Donald Trump has said he will double imports tariffs from China, where most Apple Company products are produced.
Apple Company produces in China most of its Iphone models and other products. But in recent years the Apple company has expanded operations in countries like India and Vietnam. But not so much in the United States.
Apple Giant announced that over the next four years, he will invest $500 billion in the United States. Plans include building a centre for equipment production for artificial intelligence and commitment to creating 20,000 jobs.
The announcement comes after the meeting of Apple Company chief Tim Cook with President Donald Trump. Apple is among the American firms that have recently announced investments in the country and the creation of new jobs.
In a post in social media, President Trump announced that doubling the 10% universal fee for China will be put into force Tuesday.
