He talks to Putin on the phone

The Serbian president has indicated he has talked with Vladimir Putin on some important issues between the two countries.

“A very good conversation with Russian Federation President Vladimir Vladimirovic Putin on all important issues of our bilateral co-operation and confirmation of the upcoming meeting on 9 May in Moscow”, he said.

 

 

We talked about political co-operation and the need for continuing trade exchange recovery and economic co-operation”, he added, stressing that one of the main topics was the gas supply agreement.

The situation in the region was one of the key issues. I conveyed him a message from Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik. Putin well understands the situation in the region, sees the high representative's efforts and actions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, aiming at Dodik's collapse. The Russian Federation has always supported the Dayton Agreement and Republika Srpska”, Serbia's leader said.

Also, I should stress that people in Serbia are concerned about efforts for a color revolution, and for that I talked with him. I thanked him that Russian officials did not support this. Putin had a clear and precise stance, that Russia understands well and sees what is happening and will continue to support the legitimate government elected in Serbia”, Vuciq said.

He completed the video story confirming he will visit Moscow on May 9th, “where I will be present on the 80th anniversary of his victory over Fascism”.

Otherwise, Vuciq is continuing to go against the European Union's calls for Putin's isolation.
