Police in Ferizaj have reportedly arrested two suspects for armed robbery.

I.D. 35 years old and M.Q. The 27-year-olds allegedly entered a market on “Astrit Bytyqi” and received about a thousand euros after threatening the worker there.

They've been detained for 48 hours.

With the date 03.03.2025, around 18:25, police have accepted information about an armed robbery at a market on “Astrit Bytyqi” in Ferizaj. Immediately, police patrols, Ferizaj police station investigators, regional investigators and the criminalists have appeared on the scene to conduct necessary investigations and examinations. From the complaint statement (the marketing worker) and the review of images by security cameras, it has been found that two masked people, under gun threat, have entered the market and have received a sum of money, about 1,000 euros. Thanks to intensive investigative work on the ground, with the date 04.03.2025 regional investigators managed to identify and arrest two suspects -- I.D., 35 and M.Q., 27. By order of the judge, the raid on their residence has been carried out, where related evidence has been provided. After the interview, with the state prosecutor's decision, suspects have been detained for 48 hours, pending further investigative procedures.
