At the initial session Wednesday at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, after reading the indictment by prosecutor Bekim Kodraliu, Saban took time to analyse the indictment and then plead about it, reports the “Justice Bettim“.

Prosecutor Kodoraliu said the indictment is volume and has much evidence, as he announced that the subject papers have been handed over to the defence on February 24th 2025 and considers that it has been enough time to read the indictment, so that the accused can be declared about guilt today.

But it was agreed that the accused could be given time to read the charge and then plead.

Lawyer Besnik Berisha, advocate of the accused Shabani, said his defender is present with him today for the first time, so the request is approved to be given time for reading and analysis of the indictment.

Afterwards, the chairman of the court, Beqman Beqiri, said that since the accused has the right to be known by the indictment, the Court issues a decision with which the initial and next review seacza is terminated and is scheduled for 17 March.

Similarly, Berisha said it is impossible to read the indictment in such a short term, and that the accused can be declared over guilt.

Judge Beqman Beqiri said it is a fact that today the indictment has been delivered to the accused, while defenders via e-mail earlier. So he said that he would proceed with the reading of the charge, where accused have the right to not be declared.

The judge stressed that the court has been obliged to set the initial review within the 15-day deadline, as the accused are in custody and subject papers are not slim.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) on February 19th 2025 has filed charges against Bedri Shaban and Muharrem Kerim, who charges them with collecting and sending information and documents to Serbian BIA concerning the Kosovo Liberation Army, its superiors and members, the Police, Kosovo Intelligence Agency and the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, as well as specific events and objects, including a massacre.

Through these actions, The SPRK says the aim was to cause a wide interethnic conflict on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, to create a false Narrative to link the KLA Military Hospital with whether organ trafficking and question the truth of the massacre.

The Actakuz charges the Shaban Distraction Center. The Qerim, on the other hand, is accused of illegal weapons.

According to the indictment, provided by the “Justice Trust”, at first point Bedri Shabani is charged with having received information, documents and materials related to the Kosovo Liberation Army, including its superiors, as well as specific events and items such as the Military Hospital. The KLA in the village (readed) and the massacre (readed).

The indictment says that Shaban's data and information in question had been transmitted to BIA senior official, S.R., responsible for (read) and Colonel B. J, former commander of the Serbian Police (readed) during wartime in Kosovo and leader of the police-military operation in the (published) massacre through telephone communications, e-mails and physical meetings held on Serbia's territory.

Therefore, it is said that with these actions, the accused has seriously jeopardised and seriously damaged the constitutional legal order and security of the Republic of Kosovo, helping BIA also create a false Narrative in order to link the KLA (read-out) Military Hospital as being made organ trafficking, as well as questioning the truth of the massacre (readed) by BIA official and BJ to take operational actions that would cause a broad conflict in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

Therefore for these actions, Bedri Shaban is tasked with criminal work “Spy” from Article 124, paragraph 3 of Penal Code.

However, at the second point of the indictment, Muharrem Qerimi is charged from 2012 and on and on until his arrest on June 5, 2024, has helped the Republic of Serbia's Intelligence and Security Agency (known as BIA), in the form of collecting and sending information, documents and various materials related to the war and members of the KLA, the names and superiors of the Kosovo Police, AKI, IPK, then the names of known witnesses (readed) about organised crime criminal acts, corruption, which information has transmitted to the senior BIA official, S.R., responsible for (readed) through telephone communications and physical meetings he has held in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

With these actions, the accused Qerim reportedly has seriously jeopardised and damaged the constitutional judicial order and security of the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens.

So for these actions, the Qerim is tasked with criminal activity “Spy” from Article 124, paragraph 3 of Penal Code.

Meanwhile, the third point of the indictment is said to be on June 5, 2024 indictees in the implementation of the Court's warrant for control, found without authorization to a type “gun. Ecol Tuna”, a clip, six rounds, twenty more bullets, with an 1153 inscription, as well as four more clips marked by the semifinal and one round, which are seized by Kosovo Police.

With these actions, Qarim is charged with committing criminal work “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons” by Article 366, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.
