He says Starmer was clear that a “peace deal would have to be backed up by strong security guarantees, including a “co-ordination of will” of those willing to protect and guarantee peace, with US support to prevent Vladimir Putin from returning, the BBC broadcast Express.
And each agreement must be based on a strong, sovereign and secure Ukraine. He said he would continue to have rhythmic conversations and reiterated the importance of this job for British security”.
