Last month, the Special Prosecutor has filed charges against Bedri Shaban and Muharrem Qerim for the “work. Spy”, writes Reporter.net.

The state prosecutor from the Special Prosecutor has proposed to the court that after the trial and administration of evidence, the same was convicted and sentenced according to the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

Bedri Shaban and Muharrem Qerim, both with Albanian ethnicities, were arrested by Kosovo Police in 05.06.2024 due to spying allegations. They are allegedly co-operating with Serbian intelligence structures for many years.

During the searchhouses, police have located and seized various documents, computers, phones, USB, DVR, tapes, weapons and ammunition, masks, military gascars, as well as many other evidence.

Both have been arrested month and part of the action has also been the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.

In the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, the criminal act of spying enters within the framework of criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.

The minimum punishment for this work is 5 years in prison, and the maximum is 12 years. /Reporter.net/
