The Special Prosecutor confirms: Doubts of misuse and public procurement fraud at the Peci ministry

According to Kozmaqi, the raid was carried out after reports of renovation of an AAK-based facility currently under ministry management.

“You inform that the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo in support of Article 83. 1 of Code No. 08/032 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Procedure in order to verify claims or allegations raised in public opinion on the actions of several public officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, concerning the renewal of the facility that the AAK, now under the management of the Ministry, has authorised the Kosovo Police, respectively, the Director of Economic Crimes and Corruption Investigation <x0) in Pristina, to conduct investigative actions in the investigation and obtaining evidence to clarify the circumstances.

It has added that MBPZHR officials are suspected of criminal acts “due to the use of the official position”, “Kestumuse and public procurement fraud” and “Forging” documents, Express reports.
