EU Emisari for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Peter Sorensen, before wrapping up his first official visit to Kosovo, has visited the Merdare border checkpoint.
From there, he said all border points between Kosovo and Serbia should be modernised.
Before leaving Kosovo, I stopped at Merdare a modern crossing point built by the EU. It is time to boost co-operation to modernise all other crossing points between Kosovo and Serbia”, Sorensen has written.

In three days of stay in Kosovo, Sorensen has met with the country's leaders, opposition leaders, Serb representatives and members of civil society. He has also paid a visit to the NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR.
