Political analyst Azdren Shala has declared that the ruling Vetevendosje party has had great terrorist potential and that the state has failed to act in due time to stop this danger.
According to Shala, there is numerous evidence proving that Vetevendosje has functioned as an organisation with parallel structures capable of violent acts.
“Today 100 witnesses can be found confirming that LVV has been an organisation with potential terrorist endorm,” he said at KTV.
He cited Albin Kurti's arrest in 2015 at the party's “office Qafa”, where, according to him, weapons had been found, as evidence showing that Vetevendosje had capacities for violent actions. He also recalled the attack on the Kosovo Assembly in 2016, naming it a terrorist act that he says the VV still has potential.
Shala also stressed that for a long period, LVV has trained young people for confrontation with the Kosovo Police and has functioned as a parallel system within the state.
“has photographs, there are material facts showing how this organisation has prepared young people for confrontation with forces of rank”, he added.
According to the analyst, the state has shown poor in relation to Vetevendosje and has not taken adequate measures to prevent its growth as an organisation with radical tendencies.
