“Knowing Serbia's destabilising attitude in the Balkans and in particular towards Kosovo, which has in some cases witnessed with concrete military and terrorist actions against our Republic, the signing of the three-fold military agreement -- Croatia, Albania and Kosovo -- a few days ago in Tirana -- is a concrete safeguard against these destabilising territorial claims”, Qehaja wrote on Facebook, broadcast Periscope.
According to him, the destabilising situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of Republika Srpska's restructuring there, under Serbia's continued support, shows the extremely pronounced fragility of the security situation in the Balkans.
“I recall that NATO's initiative for more investment in the establishment of the military readiness of its armed forces, and in particular Albania, as a member of this alliance and attempting to establish Kosovo's defence and defence readiness respectively, are signals showing the determination of these three states to counter Serbian destabilizing actions. Therefore, I think signing this military agreement of these three states is no provocation, as they say by official Belgrade, but concrete action for stability in the Balkans. Of course, despite the existence of a part of NATO in Kosovo called KFOR buys weapons and establishing KSF military readiness, namely support in our own forces, remains one of the most important priorities at the current moment”, he said.
