The current generation of presidential limo was built in 2018 during Donald Trump's first term. General Motors Executive Director Mary Barra, reportedly has already discussed with Trump the possibility of re-inventing the presidential limo to look more like Cadillac Escalade SUV. The platform reportedly would remain based on Suburban, but the vehicle would be closer to design with the Estalade, using Cadillac badges and visual details. Discussions on this are currently under way between the Secret Service and the leadership of General Motors, which owns Caddilac and Chevrolet brands.
