Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has been hosting a meeting of the United States Embassy of America's Business in Kosovo, Mrs. Annu Prattipati.
Recent developments in the country, the security situation in Kosovo and the region were discussed, as well as steps towards forming the government.
Also focused on concrete commitments after recent visits to Kosovo, including those of the NATO Secretary General, the EU Special Representative for Dialogue, the visits of US military representatives, as well as the visit of Latvia's president, which took place during today.
Among other things, the meeting also discussed deepening co-operation between Kosovo and the United States of America, in line with targets set by President Donald Trump and his administration.
Osmani and Prattipati were particularly focused on expanding economic co-operation and strengthening partnerships in the field of defence.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of close relations between Kosovo and the US and the commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries./Periscopi/
