Poland's military says it has crashed fighter aircraft and activated ground-based air defence systems during the attack.
Voldymyr Zelensky says he will travel to Saudi Arabia next week, where talks will be held between Ukrainian and American officials aiming to end the war.
Ukrainian president hopes it will be “a meaningful meeting” and says it will work “constructively” with Trump to achieve a rapid “” and stable “”.
At a summit in Brussels, Zelensky urged European leaders to support the steps he has outlined for a full and fair “end of fighting”.
