US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke after Ukraine accepted a 30-day truce.
Rubio at a media conference said I hope Russia will say yes to the ceasefire.
Rubio says “Ukraine is about to stop shooting and start speaking”.
He reiterated that he hopes Russia will say yes to ceasefire, but if they say no “then unfortunately we will know what is the obstacle to peace here”, reports BBC, broadcast Periscope.
Asked again about the deadline, Rubio says he hopes to do it “as soon as possible”.
