At the meeting held on March 10th, the Central Election Commission made two decisions to recount the 50 seats.
Initially, the CEC made a decision to recount 15 locations from various Kosovo municipalities, in which the voting process has been held on February 9th 2025. According to the recommendation presented by the Counting and Results Centre, during the acceptance of the results at this centre by the Municipal Counting Centre has been found at odds with the number of signatures on the Voters' List with the number of ballots inside the ballot boxes.
In addition, the CEC made a decision to recount full ballots for political subjects and candidates from 35 countries because there are differences in results. These locations belong to the Vushtrri municipality in which it was voted on February 9, 2025.
The recount process is under way in the presence of accredited observers.
