The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (IKSHPK) has prompted parents to operate their children, with the vaccine against Fruth, Shytte and Rubella ( MMR-Morbil, Mums, Rubelle.
Several sporadic cases of fruit in our country are reportedly recorded between January and March, while the vaccine remains the safest way to prevent new cases.
Under the protection of public health and with the aim of preventing the spread of infectious diseases and preserving child health, it is very important to ensure that your children are vaccinated with MMR vaccines. During this year (then January-March 2025) several sporadic cases of fruit have been recorded in our country, while the vaccine remains the safest way to prevent new cases”, the IKSHPK report said.
What is MMR vaccine?
The MMR vaccine is given to prevent fruit, spray, and ruble.
It is safe and effective and is one of the best ways to protect children from such diseases.
When Should Children Be vaccinated?
The MMR vaccine, according to the regular vaccination calendar, is given in two doses:
• The first dose at 12-15 months.
• The second dose at 5-6.
Children who for various reasons have not been able to obtain the vaccine according to the regular calendar can also be vaccinated at any time, since the vaccine can be given after age 6. It is important that a child complete his vaccine by taking both doses of the vaccine MMR to secure full protection.
Why is vaccine important?
Because of recent cases of fruit in the country and in neighboring countries, it is essential that every child be vaccinated, prevent possible explosions, and ensure their health and that of other children.
Where can you vaccinate your children?
Visit the nearest family medicine center, where you can vaccinate your child.
All children who are vaccinated with MMR vaccines are protected from these infectious diseases and thus help prevent their spread.
