This incident has prompted the election expert's response from Democracy Plus (D+), Albert Krasniqi.
Commenting on the situation, he has said the CEC should function as an independent and impartial institution, where its members should serve professionally and without political influence.
Krasniqi has singled out any intervention of CEC members in the work of political party commissioners and observers.
The “Model designated for the CEC in Kosovo is the one of an independent institution where its members swear to serve impartially and professionally. Any attempt by CEC members to intervene in the work of commissioners and observers of political subjects, through influence or pressure, is totally unacceptable”, he wrote on Facebook.
He added that Kosovo's president should take measures to dismiss members of the CEC who violate their obligations, especially those who repeat such violations.
