In the context of complaints handed down to PZAP, the Vetevendosje Movement has called for total annulment of voting abroad and repetition of this process.
Although doubts about possible vote manipulations should be handled and investigated carefully, the complete annulment of the diaspora vote would have major consequences. Such a decision would not only cause delays in certificate results, but, above all, it would punish those citizens who have voted regularly.
Instead of a “all approach at” that risks violating confidence in the electoral process, a deepening and targeted investigation into only concrete cases suspected of manipulation would be a more just and sustainable solution.
