Pristina/ The passenger is arrested for attempting to pay false money in a taxi

The Capital Directorate's police units have arrested a person suspected of counterfeiting money.

The alleged “Person was arrested just a few minutes after accepting the information that the same tried to pay a fake money”, police report said.

At the moment of the arrest the suspected person was in a taxi (passenger), where he tried to hide counterfeit money (about 3,000 euros that were 200 euro bills), which were found and seized by police”, the report follows.

Kosovo police have launched investigations into the case, while the suspected person has been sent to the maintenance./Periscopi/
