Kosovo's “initiative Boykoton” calls for boycotting all supermarkets in Kosovo on 15 March, due to price hikes.
Initiative activists have today unveiled a banner with the inscription “15 March, Kosovo boycotts, all supermarkets”.
Gevat Kastrati, a member of this initiative, called on citizens to join this initiative, for boycotting the markets. Contract Krasniqi said that through boycotts they show their purchasing power and send a message to the markets and the government for their dissatisfaction with price hikes broadcasts Periscope.
“We are the Kosova Boykoton group, we are a non-form group of citizens we've taken as initiative to raise prices, even a kind of protest through the boycott we're conducting... The call for citizens is with us and I raise my voice through a market boycott of our purchasing power because when we all join in boycott, we send a message to the markets and the government that we are very unhappy and we make some kind of social pressure for the follow-up response”, he said.
We remember that these kinds of initiatives for boycotting markets are also taking place in countries in the region due to price hikes.
