Students and other citizens of Serbia have started gathering in New Belgrade.
At noon they are expected to head towards Serbia's Parliament.
On the other hand, a large number of police and gendarmerie forces were engaged in downtown Belgrade before the start of the protest called by students, reports Radio Free Europe, broadcast Periscope.
Also, all transport vehicles of Belgrade's city transport company have been pulled into their garages from Saturday morning and will not operate during the day.
Besides them, private transportation lines are not operating from Friday afternoon.
